Several directories (Fazier, Dang.ai, TheSaaSDir) offer a genuinely free tier — but only if you embed their badge on your own site. That is a real, non-monetary condition, not a hidden fee. Decide up front whether you are comfortable adding it.
For B2B software specifically
G2, Capterra, GetApp, and Software Advice are now the same corporate family (G2 acquired the other three in early 2026) — all free for a basic listing, all B2B-only, all requiring a real account. TrustRadius is also free, but requires the vendor to already have 100+ real customers to qualify, so it is a later-stage option rather than a day-one one.
